Vapor-Phase Substrate Nitroreductase Reaction and Its Application as TNT Electrochemical Gas Sensor

چکیده

Nitroreductase (NTR) is an enzyme that specifically reduces nitroaromatic activity. Some explosives are exploited by terrorists. Among these highly explosive materials, 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) often used, which makes the detection of TNT important research topic in fight against terrorism. vapor gas sensor approach has been under active investigation for several years. Despite this effort, presently, there limited practical success, part, due to ultralow volatility nature TNT. In work, we propose application NTR reaction a hydrogel detect vapor. First, activity was confirmed adding and 2,4-dinitrotoluene (DNT) solutions NTR-hydrogel conducting cyclic voltammetry (CV) experiments. Then, further CV experiments were carried out with phase samples. The graphs NTR-hydrogels detecting vapors containing substrates negative controls compared. Results showed signal from nitroaromatics increased exposure time, where highest all tested compounds. sensitive enough presented ambient air at room temperature.

Electrochemical production of Graphene Oxide and its application as a novel Hydrogen Peroxide sensor

Herein, graphene oxide is produced by electrochemical oxidation method from graphite rod to examine its hydrogen peroxide sensing ability. The electrochemically produced graphene oxide is characterized by SEM and XRD. A few layers of Graphene Oxide(GO) sheets and corrugations in graphene sheets appeared intensely crumpled and folded into a typical wrinkled structure after electrochemical oxidat...

synthesis of copper (ii) oxide (cuo) nanoparticles and its application as gas sensor

copper sulfate was used as a precursor to prepare cuo nanoparticles in reverse micelles (o/w microemulsion).  this is a technique which allows the preparation of ultrafine metal oxide nanoparticles within the size ranging from 50 to 60 nm. the preparation of nano copper (ii) oxide studied was investigated in the inverse microemulsion system. therefore the nucleation of metal particles proceeds ...

The Gas Phase Oxidation of Acetaldehyde Reaction Mechanism and Kinetics

The mechanism of the low temperature oxidation of gaseous acetaldehyde was investigated in the temperature range of 1 50-400?°C. The minor, intermediate and major products were identified and measured quantitatively by sampling directly into the ionization chamber of an MS10-C2 mass spectrometer from the reactor. The formation of H2O, CO, CO2, HCOOH, H2, HCHO, CH3COOH and CH3OH as the major pro...

Small‐Molecule Dengue Virus Co‐imprinting and Its Application as an Electrochemical Sensor

Polymers can be synthesized to recognize small molecules. This is achieved by introducing the target molecule during monomer self-assembly, where they can be incorporated during cross-linking polymerization. Following additional pre-processing, the material obtained can then be applied as a sensing layer for these molecules in many applications. The sensitivity of the polymers depends on the "a...

Sonochemical-Assisted Synthesis of Copper Oxide Nanoparticles and Its Application as Humidity Sensor

Cupric oxide nanostructures were synthesized via a simple reaction between copper nitrate and sodium hydroxide using a sonochemical-assisted method. The synthesized CuO was then characterized using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared, ultraviolet-visible and photoluminescence spectroscopy. Our studies show that the CuO na...
